Just 2 weeks ago I received a wedding inquiry from Caitlin. She completed the contact form with lots of details, which I love. We traded many emails back and forth. As I was getting to know her more and more, I could see she was passionate about her fiancé. She was so happy to share every detail they had planned, even pictures of them together, and, she wanted a photographer who also appreciated this. I was smitten over Caitlin already and I hadn’t even been hired yet. I was really hoping to get the call, “You’re hired!” which happened very soon and now we have completed their engagement shoot this past weekend!
Now on to Caitlin and Andrew… They are about the cutest people I have photographed. So cuddly and romantic. So easy to shoot! We drove around Charleston downtown and then to Boone Hall Plantation. I loved getting to know them even better every minute. Andrew will do anything for Caitlin and it showed. Caitlin is a detail girl and brought a handmade quilt her mom made with two blue love birds on it along with the initials of C + A. Their wedding will take place at The Old Exchange Building in downtown Charleston in August. They both met through pharmacy residency at MUSC, and are both pharmacists, but more specifically solid organ transplant clinical specialists! They are foodies and love going out to eat at different restaurants every time Caitlin visits, as she moved from Charleston to Richmond for her job following residency.
Caitlin and Andrew, you are both a dream to work with and I am looking forward to your wedding. I know there will be lots of love all around!
